 The
custom-designed, two-story cottage has approximately 1,100 sq feet
of living space with an attached covered porch. In addition, we
have two oak rocking chairs as well as numerous all-purpose Adirondack
chair for the lawn or use at the beach. Also, we have a gas barbeque
grill, picnic table, hammock, and other outdoor activities (e.g.,
croquette and badminton) at your disposal.  The
house is situated with a north-north west view of Cardigan Bay and
Georgetown making it ideal for watching sunsets. You may access
our private beach from the cottage as well.
The downstairs is comprised of the living & dining room area,
kitchen and one bedroom with a queen-size bed with an adjacent full
bath. Both the living room & dining area have large windows
facing the covered porch overlooking the front lawn and Cardigan
Bay. All windows in the cottage have custom window treatments as
well as retractable blackout shades.
We designed and equipped the kitchen with all the modern conveniences
that we were accustomed to in our Florida home as we enjoy gourmet
cooking. The kitchen has custom oak cabinets with a dishwasher,
built-in microwave, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, as well other
small, kitchen appliances (e.g., coffee maker, food processor, mixer,
electric toaster, can opener, etc). In addition, we provide china
plates, crystal & plastic glasses, serving pieces, cooking and
baking necessities, lobster pot, wine coasters, wine glasses, eating
and cooking cutlery/utensils, etc. If you should require any other
items, we will gladly accommodate your needs from our larger gourmet
kitchen at the main house.
The living room contains an oversized, plush chesterfield/sofa
with a matching oversized plush armchair as well as matching cherry-topped
end tables and a coffee table that sits on an-oversized woven wool
area rug. In addition, a combined TV/VCR is in the room with US
satellite connection (we have a library of VHS movies for your selection
at the main house) and high speed internet. In addition, we have a portable CD player &
AM/FM radio available for use in the cottage.
The downstairs bedroom is off the kitchen and contains Two twin beds with decorative metal headboards and designer linens, comforter and quilt.
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, AM/FM radio alarm clocks, brass
lamps, and flashlights on the nightstands. The room contains a mahogany
dresser and ample closet capable of hanging long garments.
The downstairs bathroom contains a closet with a washer/dryer.
We provide designer bath and bed linens as well as laundry detergents,
an electric steam iron and ironing board for use.
The second bedroom and bath occupy the entire second floor as a
bedroom suite with a small sitting area and view of Cardigan Bay.
The room contains a queen-sized bed with designer linens, comforter
and quilt, with an oak head- and footboard with matching nightstands
and armoire. In addition, the room contains ample built-in custom
oak cabinets, drawers and shelving for storing clothes. The upstairs
bath has a similar layout to the downstairs bath with a small closet
for hanging long garments.
